Being a great prop designer requires having an acute attention to detail, creative talent and vast knowledge in a wide variety of areas. Designing props for parties, theater and even for films, is a very exciting way to make a living. Our focus is to get you started in this rewarding career.
DESIGNED FOR
Our classes are for people who wish to learn how to make Styrofoam props. This is a great class for those that want to add different decorating designs in their business. If you're crafty and want to learn how to make awesome pieces for sweet 16's, bar/bat Mitzvahs, kids’ birthdays, weddings, etc, then you'll love this class. Even if you are not crafty but love to do crafts or create art, this class can be rewarding for you. Learning how to create really cool, over-the-top 3D props that will “wow” your party guests always make our students feel good about t themselves.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This Prop education and training class that we offer prepare a designer in the following ways:
• Training in all areas of production design.
• Helps bring out a unique blend of creative and technical
talents.
• Opens the mind to think outside the box.
• Trains to scale from a small picture to a large piece • Sculpt 3D using styrofoam
This EDA prop design program is designed specifically to train students for a career designing props for theme parties and/or theater. This is the ideal way to learn this art. The program offers hands-on design and construction experience, as well as other aspects of designing for a production and access to new and innovative special effects techniques.
Make objects or characters appear life-like by manipulating light, color, texture, shadow, or manipulating pieces to give the illusion of motion.
Create two-dimensional and three-dimensional images, learn how to place them and arrange them for the complete decor.
